Job Summary
Lead an interdisciplinary team of managers, sales consultants, and front-line employees to deliver superior customer experiences for residents in a 77-suite long-term care residence. Manage talent by sourcing, selecting, onboarding, and coaching staff while actively planning for succession and ensuring alignment with RESPECT values. Drive results by overseeing financial performance, customer service, employee engagement, and reputational risk, while leading sales efforts to ensure suite occupancy. Work closely with the Director of Care to address all clinical and resident needs, applying service standards to every decision. Communicate effectively with residents, families, community professionals, and outside partners to foster a culture of excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Senior Living, Hospitality, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role
- Very strong communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, community professionals and various outside partners
- Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and budget management skills
- Proven ability to develop a strong and cohesive leadership team that embraces Chartwell's culture and vision
- Proven financial and business acumen
- Proven ability to drive sales, KPI's, and understand trends within the industry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Retirement Living or Hospitality (preferred)
- Clinical experience
- Knowledge of Licensed Care Regulations
