Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the golf club's operations, including direct supervision of departments, management of the golf tee sheet for revenue optimization, and maintenance of member satisfaction. Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of department managers and staff while assisting in annual budget preparation and financial goal accountability. Manage cash flow, collections, and capital improvements, ensuring compliance with all laws and risk management protocols. Coordinate marketing programs to expand the client base and oversee facility maintenance and purchasing controls. Maintain control over assets and ensure high standards across food, beverages, and recreation services.
Required Qualifications
- At least Seven years' experience in a Golf club leadership position
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Result Oriented
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and club point-of-sale systems
- Capable of developing detailed club budgets, financial models, and well-written business plans
- Skilled at reading income statements and balance sheets
- Able to inspire and motivate others, earning the respect of members, associates, and the community
- Ability to set goals and objectives while delegating tasks and coaching department heads and their teams
- Ability to make complex decisions in a dynamic environment
- Able to speak articulately to groups and meetings
- Comprehensive understanding of the game of golf and its rules
- Regularly exposed to moving carts and vehicles and outside weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to wet and humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat
- Capable of meeting and fulfilling the physical requirements while effectively working in an environment typical for this position
- Frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling
- Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and toxic or caustic chemicals
