Job Summary
General Manager responsible for the overall planning, organizing, leading, and controlling (P-O-L-C) functions of the Copart facility, with accountability for meeting budget, revenue, and customer-satisfaction targets. Lead a diverse team through recruiting, development, and retention, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations (EPA, OSHA, DMV). Serve as SME for office and yard operations, manage sub-haulers, and drive operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Communicate effectively across all levels of leadership, foster a customer-first environment, and act as brand ambassador for Copart’s mission and culture. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a manager, military or other relevant experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust tone to audience
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong decision-making skills with risk/benefit assessment
- Strong listening skills and the ability to develop and execute solutions
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Bi-lingual a plus
