Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards and coaching all team members to build new business and increase store growth. Lead the charge for local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, and host community events to drive revenue. Examine and process loan/pawn applications while enforcing quality standards, procedures, and local laws. Supervise office security, cash management, and loss prevention by verifying cash overages/shortages and documenting inventory. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures, train new staff in keyholder duties, and develop work schedules according to budget and store needs. Handle complex customer situations with integrity and maintain internal and external store appearance. Maintain a full-time 40-hour work schedule with regular in-person attendance including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
