Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards and coach all team members to build new business and increase store growth. Lead the charge for local marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, and host community events to steer growth and build revenue. Examine and process loan/pawn applications, enforce quality standards and compliance, and supervise office security including cash management and loss prevention. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures, develop work schedules, and handle complex customer situations with integrity. Maintain internal and external store appearance, oversee planograms, and perform duties including on-site vehicle appraisals and store errands. Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining a full-time schedule with regular, in-person attendance including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
