Job Summary
General Manager responsible for food and beverage operations, including food preparation, service standards, and health and safety regulations; directly controls food cost, miscellaneous cost, labor cost, and cash; covers for costs during manager absence; requires a 45-hour work week; extensive experience in cash handling, customer service, supervision, and management, with strong English communication, math and computer skills; must be able to lead and coordinate personnel and maintain safety-first standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and be cleared to the current insurance and MVR guidelines in order to deliver in an emergency.
- Must have at least 6 months cash handling, food handling, customer service, and general supervision/management experience.
- Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service.
- Must have knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English preferred, including production and manufacturing terminology.
- Must have knowledge of management principles involved in resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Must have knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and leading.
- Must have knowledge of raw materials, store production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing store profitability and customer service.
- Must always have a working phone.
- Job may require a lot of standing or walking. Must be able to work extra-long shifts, also, must be able to stand at a table height of 34-45 inches for up to 6 hours.
- Ability to problem-solve, plan, motivate, and take initiative.
