Job Summary
Lead overall operation and financial performance of a multifamily portfolio, supervising Operations and Sales Managers while directly managing community budgets, occupancy, and NOI. Execute strategic planning for pricing and lease rates, analyze market trends to outperform peer groups, and drive revenue through marketing and leasing initiatives. Manage facilities, vendor relationships, and capital improvements to preserve asset integrity, while acting as the escalation point for resident relations issues. Develop high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, and performance management, ensuring consistent implementation of corporate initiatives and a trusting work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Leasing experience in residential property management
- Ability to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lead and motivate others
- Maintain professional demeanor during high stress situation
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative without instruction
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must possess professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to climb stairs to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
- Ability to work in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.)
- Ability to handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis
- Emotional stability and personal maturity
- Ability to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
- Ability to travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
- Ability to make airline travel, out-of-town and/or overnight trips
- Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
