Job Summary
General Manager overseeing daily restaurant operations at Burger King in Alamogordo, NM, with accountability for profitability, guest satisfaction, people development, and compliance. Drives sales via proactive guest service, leadership of the restaurant team (including Assistant Manager and Shift Coordinators), labor scheduling, recruitment/training of staff, and alignment to operational and brand standards. Responsibilities include managing the restaurant’s P&L, staff scheduling and development, local marketing initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and performing the duties of the Assistant Manager & Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of P&L management & drivers of restaurant profitability
- Ability to prioritize own and others' work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
