Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the location to achieve maximum sales and profits by overseeing daily operations, sales, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control. Develop and implement inventory programs to meet location levels, recruit and train staff, and enforce staffing measures that reduce turnover. Motivate employees, approve wage increases, and establish performance objectives while recommending capital improvements and maintaining equipment. Support company safety initiatives, enforce policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and obtain customer satisfaction feedback. Account for budget reporting, establish operating budgets, and monitor expenses to improve financial performance. Travel 10-25% depending on location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
- four years related managerial experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- prior experience in building materials industry
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
