Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company standards, coaching team members to build new business and increase growth. Lead the charge on local marketing strategies, B2B partnerships, and community events to drive revenue. Examine and process loan/pawn applications, enforce quality standards and compliance, and supervise office security including cash management and loss prevention. Conduct opening and closing procedures, develop work schedules, and handle complex customer situations with integrity. Maintain store appearance, oversee planograms, and perform external duties like vehicle appraisals and errands. This role requires a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week, including weekends. As part of the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, you will serve customers with short-term financial solutions across over 1,500 brick-and-mortar stores.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time
- Ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move inside and outside of the store
- Ability to operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Must be able to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
