Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company standards and lead team development to drive revenue and build brand loyalty. Examine and process loan and pawn applications while enforcing quality standards, procedures, and local regulations. Supervise office security, cash management, and loss prevention by verifying cash overages, inventory, and deposits. Conduct opening and closing procedures, train new staff on keyholder duties, and develop work schedules aligned with budget and store needs. Handle complex customer situations with integrity and maintain internal and external store appearance, including overseeing planograms and promotional materials. Perform duties outside the office as needed, such as site vehicle appraisals and store errands. Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check required
- The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
