Job Summary
Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company standards and lead team development to build new business and increase growth. Examine and process loan/pawn applications while enforcing quality standards, procedures, and local/state laws. Supervise office security including cash management, loss prevention, and verify cash overages/shortages. Conduct proper opening and closing procedures, train new staff in keyholder duties, and develop work schedules to ensure optimal staffing. Handle complex customer situations with integrity, monitor store appearance, and perform duties outside the office such as vehicle appraisals and marketing. Maintain a full-time schedule of at least 40 hours per week, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- Operations experience in a leadership capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Background check required
- The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
- Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends
- A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing
