Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations, staff, and financial performance to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Lead the team in recruiting, training, and supervising employees, including setting schedules and conducting performance reviews. Manage inventory by directing shipping, receiving, and ordering while maintaining stock levels and store appearance. Resolve customer complaints, achieve sales targets, and perform bookkeeping and payroll functions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and ACE programs. Participate in local community events and maintain a clean, well-organized store environment. Varied schedules include nights, weekends, and holidays; requires lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail management experience
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and manage physical inventory
- Strong leadership, communication, and basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Varied schedules include nights, weekend, and holidays
- Position requires bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time
- Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and 'dollying' merchandise 25-100 pounds
