Job Summary
General Manager for the Baymont by Wyndham in Glendive, MT. Lead hotel operations with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing, service-oriented team across all departments; promote a positive work environment through clear communication and team engagement. Maintain compliance with company policies, brand standards, and safety regulations; champion service excellence by modeling desired behaviors and incorporating guest feedback into operational improvements. Monitor performance, provide regular feedback, and set clear goals; ensure property cleanliness, safety, and security for guests and associates. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling (weekends, evenings, and holidays) and perform other duties as assigned to support hotel success. Requirements include GM or AGM experience and the ability to recruit, select, retain, and develop quality associates; strong understanding of Microsoft Office products; ability to analyze financial information; and effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two- or four-year college degree preferred
- Stable work history required
