Job Summary
Lead the single Barry’s studio as General Manager, overseeing operations, client experience, people management, and performance. Responsible for studio performance across operations (Front Desk, FuelBar, Retail, Facilities), labor scheduling, and facilities initiatives; mentor and coach staff; recruit/onboard across departments; partner with HR on personnel matters; collaborate with marketing on brand initiatives and client acquisition; maintain a unified culture and high staff engagement while representing the Barry’s brand in the local fitness community. Requires 3-5 years of fitness management or related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or equivalent, and availability for full-time hours including non-traditional schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of fitness management or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent experience
- Availability for full-time work during non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to train, lead, motivate, and delegate to a team of employees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations; move and lift 30+ pounds
