Job Summary
General Manager leading a Pet Care Center to prioritize pets and people, drive sales growth and profitability, and ensure high standards of animal care, safety, and customer experience. You will recruit, coach, and develop a diverse team; oversee labor, payroll, and inventories; execute merchandising and operational processes to Petco standards; represent the store in the local community through events and partnerships; and lead initiatives that reinforce the Petco brand, culture, and values. The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, and hands-on involvement on the sales floor with customers, pets, and partners.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of management experience (retail leadership preferred)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
