Job Summary
Recruit, interview, hire, and retain team members while ensuring appropriate staffing levels for business fluctuations and peak periods. Analyze store performance to identify improvement opportunities, audit labor records for compliance, and communicate job expectations and brand standards. Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance through monthly one-on-ones and quarterly meetings, coaching, counseling, and resolving conflicts. Foster a positive store culture rooted in F.I.B.E.R. principles, lead by example, and drive operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction. Requires ServSafe certification, ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends, and experience managing teams of 10–40 members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- BA/BS in Business or related field
- Minimum 2 years of successful management experience
- Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment
- Direct P&L responsibility experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience supervising hourly, supervisory, and management staff
- Background or interest in nutrition and wellness
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and financial management skills
- Proven analytical, problem‐solving, organization, and planning abilities
- Sound judgment, professionalism, optimism, and initiative
- Proficiency with computers and common software applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Reliable transportation
- ServSafe Certification
- Food Handler Permit
- Compliance with all local health department requirements
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business or related field preferred
- Direct P&L responsibility experience preferred
- Background or interest in nutrition and wellness a plus (especially for Jamba)
