Job Summary
Lead the Mildura market as General Manager, driving revenue, performance and local content execution. Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for the Mildura team, cultivate a high-performance culture, and forge enduring partnerships with local organisations and events. Engage with business chambers and community boards, contribute to local government and industry discussions, and oversee market P&L to ensure profitability. Bring proven leadership in a small-medium business or business unit within radio/media, develop business plans for growth, understand the Australian media landscape, apply the Commercial Radio Code of Practice, and demonstrate strong financial acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Office. The role emphasizes revenue generation, programming alignment, community engagement, and a visible presence in the local business community.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a small-medium sized business and / or business unit, ideally within a radio and / or media business.
- Demonstrated experience developing business plans & driving business growth.
- Broad understanding of the Australian media landscape including radio, audio, digital, and other competing media in local markets.
- Working understanding of the Commercial Radio Code of Practice.
- Strong financial acumen, including working knowledge of Profit & Loss statements and other key financial business concepts.
