Job Summary
Execute and maintain quality and consistency of food and service with full adherence to standards while driving all operational standards in day-to-day activities. Oversee repairs and maintenance, conduct quarterly management and staff evaluations, and lead PR, marketing, and sales building efforts. Build a culture of financial responsibility by tracking sales, labor, and waste, holding department managers accountable for budgets and P&L projections. Manage staffing levels, hire and terminate talent as needed, and confront poor performance while rewarding good results. Maintain compliance with Arizona State labor laws, Department of Health standards, and OSHA requirements. Available to work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience in a service-oriented position within a fine dining restaurant
- Must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, special events, weekends and holidays
- Must understand how to use basic computer applications and POS systems
- Must be compliant with all Arizona State labor/hiring laws, Department of Health standards, and OSHA standards
- Must firmly confront poor performance while also recognizing and rewarding good performance
- Persons performing service in this position will exert 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- This type of work involves a combination of sitting, walking, and standing for periods of time
