Job Summary
Conduct daily operational oversight by touring departments, inspecting rooms, and managing front-line associates while maintaining strict compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Lead sales efforts through daily prospecting meetings, client hosting, and monthly financial reviews to forecast revenue and control expenses. Direct management trainees, coach department heads on budget productivity, and handle performance appraisals and hiring interviews in accordance with corporate SOPs. Maintain open communication lines with guests, vendors, and corporate representatives while ensuring all certifications and safety protocols are met.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience
- 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Company approved spreadsheets
- Proficiency in word processing
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
