Job Summary
Lead all aspects of operations for the Country Inn & Suites Milwaukee Airport, optimizing financial performance while maintaining high-quality service levels and brand compliance. Conduct daily ABR meetings, tour operating departments, and hold weekly staff meetings to drive sales, training, and productivity. Manage the management team through performance appraisals, hiring, and competency development, while ensuring adherence to safety standards, budgeted productivity, and corporate policies. Forecast monthly financial positions and oversee credit collection policies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience
- 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in Company approved spreadsheets
- Proficiency in word processing
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider, adjust, or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need
- Ability to be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions
