Job Summary
Partner with the Executive Director of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs by acting as a key representative to internal management, government customers, contractors, and external senior leaders. Organize and prioritize critical issues to facilitate efficient decision-making while overseeing employee support functions including office space, on-boarding, timesheet administration, and supply orders. Coordinate division, corporate, and customer reports, org charts, and special projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals through strategic calendar management, travel logistics, and expense reporting. Improve division processes to enhance efficiency and industry-leading technical best practices, while mentoring administrative staff and demonstrating consistent leadership behavior. This onsite role in El Segundo, CA, requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a senior admin or similar role
- Advanced administrative skills: project coordination, strategic execution of tasks, organization, detail-oriented, writing, and proofreading
- Advanced technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Excel
- Advanced communication & interpersonal skills: leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, diplomatic, judgment, business acumen, and decision making, across all levels of the organization
- Ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments and anticipate needs of the organization
- Ability to handle sensitive and personnel-related information appropriately and support sensitive management functions
- Ability to work independently and/or cooperatively with a team to proactively deliver innovative solutions and resolve issues with minimal direction
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise software packages such as Concur, Workday, JIRA, Confluence
- Familiarity with Aerospace corporate organizational structures, policies, processes, and practices
