General Manager

General Manager at Aaron’s responsible for driving and managing the store’s overall P&L, including asset management, customer growth and retention, revenue generation, associate development, and inventory control. Lead store operations to achieve planned growth and profit goals; report financial measures and transactions; manage inventory to ensure merchandise availability; ensure timely quality control on new lease agreements; protect store assets and reconcile inventories; oversee vehicle maintenance and cash handling. Recruit, hire, train, and develop store associates; schedule coverage to meet published hours; close lease agreements with a focus on customer service and long-term relationships; manage renewal activity and returns; implement company guidelines and customer service programs. Requires proven leadership, strong communication and interpersonal skills, high energy, professional appearance, selling skills, organizational and managerial capabilities, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (MVR) and, where required, a DOT certification.
