Job Summary
As General Manager at Aaron's, drive and manage the store's overall performance including P&L, inventory control, asset protection, financial reporting, and customer-growth initiatives. Lead and develop the store team to achieve planned growth and profitability, recruit/train the best associates, manage scheduling to cover store hours, and ensure high-quality customer service and renewal activity. Responsibilities include managing lease agreements, ensuring timely quality-control on new leases, maintaining company vehicles per policy, bank deposits, and pricing/reclassification of returned merchandise. Requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated selling ability; high energy; professional appearance; and a valid driver’s license with compliant DOT/MVR as applicable.
