Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for operational and fiscal effectiveness, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations, and managing financial controllables. Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing team members, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing finances and marketing programs, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to work under minimal supervision, and effective communication with both the restaurant team and external vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR) for positions requiring significant business driving
