Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for delivering excellent operations management, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations, and maintaining operational and fiscal effectiveness. Responsibilities include recruiting and developing restaurant staff, managing employee relations and performance reviews, achieving guest satisfaction, overseeing financial controls, ensuring operational compliance, and implementing marketing programs. A minimum of three years of restaurant management experience, food safety certification, and a high school diploma are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license and insurance for positions that require driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
Additional Requirements
- Maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR) for positions requiring significant business driving
