Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is accountable for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing restaurant staff, managing financial controllables, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The candidate should have three years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility, effective communication skills, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high morale. A high school diploma is required, and food safety certification is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience
- P&L responsibility
- Proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Insurance for positions requiring driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
Additional Requirements
