Job Summary

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, adhering to company standards in guest services, food and employee safety, and financial objectives. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing staff; ensuring employee relations and performance management; leading customer service initiatives; managing restaurant financials; maintaining compliance with operational standards and government regulations; and implementing marketing programs. Ideal candidates should have strong management and organizational skills, a high school diploma, and at least three years of relevant restaurant management experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, including P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred.
  • Food safety certification according to state or local requirements.

Additional Requirements

  • Must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR) for positions requiring significant business driving.
