Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing restaurant staff, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction, managing financial controllables and assets, maintaining operational standards, completing necessary paperwork, and executing marketing programs. The role requires strong leadership skills, organizational abilities, and the capacity to motivate a team towards excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field are preferred.
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving.
- District Managers and ASLs with positions requiring significant business driving must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR).
