Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant. This includes ensuring compliance with company and government regulations, providing excellent guest services, and managing employee relations and development. The role involves recruiting and training staff, maintaining financial controllables, implementing marketing programs, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility, and reliability in transportation and driving compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
Additional Requirements
- Positions that require significant business driving must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR)
