Job Summary

Manage all shift operations, including cost controls, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations. Set an example by adhering to all policies and procedures while ensuring staff follow the same standards. Handle staffing, paperwork, food management, and store cleanliness to maintain profitability and perfect image. Deliver pizzas within a designated area, navigate various terrains and adverse weather, and make several deliveries per shift using a valid driver's license and insured vehicle. Process telephone and in-person orders, operate equipment, and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces

  • Must be able to handle exposure to cornmeal dust
  • Must be able to work in cramped quarters including walk-in cooler
  • Must be able to handle hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher
  • Must be able to handle sharp edges and moving mechanical parts
  • Must be able to talk and hear on telephone
  • Must be able to navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery
  • Must be able to work under adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing
