General Manager responsibilities include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas (including the walk-in cooler), preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory and completing related paperwork, and daily cleaning of equipment and facility. The role requires accurate arithmetic for monetary transactions (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; make correct change), strong verbal, written, and telephone communication to take and process orders, and the ability to enter orders via computer keyboard or touch screen. The employee must understand written instructions, communicate effectively with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone, and deliver products by car to customers’ doors as well as distribute flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area are required, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings/other delivery sites while carrying product.
