Job Summary
Manage all shift operations including cost controls, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations while setting a strict example for the crew. Execute staffing, food management, store cleanliness, and marketing activities to ensure profitability and adherence to all policies. Process telephone and in-person orders, operate equipment, and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler. Deliver pizzas and promotional materials within the designated area using a personal vehicle, navigating various terrains and adverse weather conditions. Perform repetitive physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing dollies, and operating hot surfaces. Requires a valid driver's license, strong math skills, and the ability to work under stress.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
