Job Summary
Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair, then troubleshoot issues to determine necessary fixes. Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals, performing general repairs such as drywall, painting, and fixing doors or fixtures that do not require specialized technicians. Conduct routine maintenance on building systems, clean and assist with facility upkeep, and order supplies and materials needed for repairs. This role involves hands-on work with hand and power tools, requiring the ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces while lifting up to 50 pounds. The position is onsite at 789 Central Avenue with evening shifts, offering a weekly schedule of 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Personal Drivers License (New Hampshire)
- New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles required
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- General Maintenance Experience 0-1 year preferred
- Trades Experience 1-2 years preferred
- Knowledge of general maintenance and trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning etc
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work with a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
