Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance on company buildings, facilities, and equipment by performing carpentry, painting, plastering, masonry, and mechanical repairs. Execute interior prepping and painting for office spaces, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, equipment rooms, lobbies, and common areas, including drywall, wallpaper, carpet, and tile replacements. Safely operate hand and power tools while adhering to job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements. Complete work order documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and provide service feedback to customers. Resolve work problems and assist colleagues in troubleshooting. Maintain strict schedules with flexibility for overtime, holidays, weekends, and alternative shifts. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to work from heights.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent
- Three years of experience as a residential and/or commercial painter or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues
- Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules
- Ability to work from heights, ladders and elevated platforms
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift
- Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding
- Ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress
- Valid Driver's License
