General Maintenance Worker II

General Maintenance Worker II responsible for assisting with the general maintenance and upkeep of all facilities in the complex under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor/Facilities Director. Perform daily maintenance tasks, make reports of service needs, secure and monitor tools, coordinate maintenance services for residents, supervise safety in material handling for residents, participate in mandatory training and staff development, maintain clearance through contracting agencies, meet physical requirements, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires knowledge of facility maintenance processes, effective written and oral communication, ability to operate in an offender populated environment, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Requires a flexible work schedule and advanced technical maintenance skills related to heat, air, safety, and sanitation in a residential facility.
