General Maintenance Worker (HVAC)

Job Summary
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including lubrication, inspection, cleaning, and filter replacement within critically controlled environmental installations. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components in air-handling units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment while responding to service requests and work orders. Assist skilled trades personnel with complex maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of inspections and completed work. Use hand and power tools to perform general maintenance tasks in non-office settings, adhering to safety procedures and reporting equipment deficiencies or hazards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years' experience as a licensed Journeyman HVAC mechanic
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical operation and maintenance of power generation equipment
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) per contract
- Must complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives
- Must be proficient with the English Language per contract
- Must have the ability to maintain assigned work hours
- Must have sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of time
- Required the ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Requires wearing personal protective equipment such, safety glasses, fall protection harness, protective-toe footwear, gloves, hard hat, and hearing protection
