Job Summary
General Maintenance Worker at Alutiiq Operations Services supporting Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. Performs general maintenance and repair across painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, HVAC; replaces components; reads manuals, blueprints; completes daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance and repair information; interfaces with customers for feedback; operates company vehicles per policy; follows applicable safety and environmental regulations; wears PPE; maintains tools and shop/work area safety; collaborates with colleagues; may require weekend/holiday shifts and availability for licenses/certifications as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance
- Minimum one (1) year experience in general maintenance and repair
- Must be available to work other shifts as directed, to include weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications
- Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards
- Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations
- Proficiency and knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools
- Demonstrated working ability read, write, speak and understand English
