Job Summary
Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs on construction sites and facilities. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, tools, and building systems to identify and resolve issues promptly while maintaining accurate records of work orders and materials used. Assist in setting up and dismantling temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers, and operate hand and power tools safely. Coordinate with project managers and other trades to schedule maintenance without disrupting construction timelines, ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Requires a high school diploma, two years of construction industry experience, and a valid driver's license. Flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance or a related field within the construction industry.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and safety guidelines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in a relevant trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and construction site safety protocols.
- First aid and CPR certification.
