Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, facilities, and systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to ensure timely resolution. Conduct preventative maintenance checks and inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and support hotel operations. Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities. Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance
- Strong knowledge of various maintenance disciplines, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
