Job Summary
Perform regular multi-trade maintenance duties including carpentry, concrete, light electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall to build and common area components. Supervise assigned technicians by coordinating activities, ordering materials, and outlining job responsibilities. Respond to maintenance requests per work orders, evaluate job sites for material needs, and execute repairs using best installation practices. Communicate field observations and statuses to management while recording time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily. Maintain high-level safety by following the Safety Code of Conduct and reporting hazardous concerns immediately. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation for delivering tools and materials, and two to three years of experience in at least two trades.
Required Qualifications
- two to three years of working experience in at least 2 of the following trades: Framing, Concrete, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Painting, Welding, Drywall, Stucco, Masonry, and/or Roofing
- Valid Driver's License without any driving restrictions, no DUI or DWI in the past five years
- Ability to use various construction, power, and hand tools
- Possesses all necessary tools to complete various job assignments
- Knowledgeable and ability to perform research and problem-solving in most aspects of construction and maintenance
- Has working knowledge of construction materials, material applications, and tools
- Self-starter, and the ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Responsible for the safety of the site, team, and self
- Proficient with technology including basic computer skills, software, smartphone, and tablet
- Transportation is required and must be reliable, presentable in working conditions, and able to transport and deliver materials and tools such as ladders, wheelbarrows, and other equipment to the worksites
