Job Summary
Perform regular maintenance duties across two or more trades, including carpentry, concrete, light electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall to maintain building and common areas. Supervise assigned technicians by coordinating activities, ordering materials, and outlining job responsibilities. Respond to maintenance requests, perform repairs per work orders, and conduct site evaluations to identify required materials. Read technical data and specifications to execute installations while maintaining high-level safety and following the safety code of conduct. Record time and expenses in ProTec Connect Daily and communicate field observations to management. Requires two to three years of experience in relevant trades, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with construction tools and technology.
Required Qualifications
- two to three years of working experience in at least 2 of the following trades: Framing, Concrete, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Painting, Welding, Drywall, Stucco, Masonry, and/or Roofing
- Valid Driver's License without any driving restrictions, no DUI or DWI in the past five years
- Ability to use various construction, power, and hand tools
- Possesses all necessary tools to complete various job assignments
- Knowledgeable and ability to perform research and problem-solving in most aspects of construction and maintenance
- Has working knowledge of construction materials, material applications, and tools
- Self-starter, and the ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Responsible for the safety of the site, team, and self
- Proficient with technology including basic computer skills, software, smartphone, and tablet
- Transportation is required and must be reliable, presentable in working conditions, and able to transport and deliver materials and tools such as ladders, wheelbarrows, and other equipment to the worksites
