Job Summary
Night Shift hospital maintenance technician duties include performing advanced general maintenance of the hospital, repairing and adding walls, floors, and ceilings, maintaining doors/locks/closers, installing or contracting signs, prioritizing and completing work orders, coordinating with Lead Nursing for repairs in patient units, ensuring ADA and code compliance, verifying materials and MSDS, and monitoring plant machinery and building automation to maintain utilities. Requires 5 years in related maintenance fields, a High School Diploma, and likely boiler operator licensing; strong knowledge of signage, painting, carpentry, locksmithing, and safety procedures is important. The role emphasizes liaison with Foreman, documentation, and adherence to budget and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5 years experience in construction, carpentry, locksmith, sign making, painting and general maintenance or related specialties
- Boiler Operator License - Arkansas Department of Labor (if applicable)
