General Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary
Maintain and repair organization facilities, performing routine tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding trades. Conduct inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns, test machines with hand and power tools, and document all repairs per regulatory requirements. Operate and service mechanical equipment including boilers, chillers, and pumps while estimating project costs and requisitioning supplies. Provide guidance to volunteers and perform landscape maintenance such as pruning, watering, and snow removal. Drive vehicles to other locations when necessary and work in accordance with established safety procedures. May have on-call duties and requires a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience
- skill and knowledge of painting
- skill and knowledge of HVAC
- skill and knowledge of carpentry
- skill and knowledge of plumbing
- skill and knowledge of masonry
- skill and knowledge of electrical work
- valid driver's license
- clean DMV record
- basic writing and communication skills
- basic computer skills
- basic Microsoft Office knowledge
- Experience in leading volunteers or paid staff
- Bilingual in any language
- Must have basic writing and communication skills
- May require a trade license
- Previous truck and/or bus driving experience
- Ability to work on a team
