Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment including injection molding machines, automated paint lines, robotics, and facility infrastructure. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities to minimize downtime and install, modify, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Read schematics and blueprints to repair motors, drives, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment while maintaining accurate work orders and documentation. Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvement projects while ensuring compliance with safety policies and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility supporting production goals for safety, quality, and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics
- Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
Desired Qualifications
