Job Summary
General Maintenance Technician responsible for all residential building maintenance, repairs, and inspection of facilities equipment (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.); provide excellent customer service; respond to emergencies after hours; perform basic service and repair tasks (replacing light bulbs/fixtures, plumbing fixes, drywall repair, painting, doors/windows); document inspections and work orders; maintain tools and equipment; participate in meetings and training; location in Bedford, OH with full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- Trade school graduate/military school or apprentice program, preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a maintenance or construction field
- 1+ years of experience in Drywall & Painting
- 1+ years experience in Plumbing
- 1+ years experience in Electrical
- 1+ years experience in Drywall
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
- Experience using electrical metering devices
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Professionalism, tact, and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance
