Job Summary
Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and repair needs. Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs including electrical fixtures, plumbing clogs, and basic carpentry tasks like drywall and painting. Respond to emergencies after hours and remove snow and salt walkways. Document all building and life safety inspections while maintaining vehicle, tools, and communication devices in safe operating condition. Complete work orders promptly using employer-provided devices and follow Brewer-Garrett Manuals and client contracts. Provide excellent customer service to clients and inform management of work order status.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Trade school graduate/military school or apprentice program
- 1+ years of experience in a maintenance or construction field
- 1+ years of experience in Drywall & Painting
- 1+ years experience in Plumbing
- 1+ years experience in Electrical
- 1+ years experience in Drywall
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
- Experience using electrical metering devices
