Job Summary
General Maintenance role at Regional Office (Houston Area). Performs maintenance and repairs across facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, HVAC/heating and cooling, and other building systems. Responsibilities include planning repair work using blueprints or manuals, performing routine maintenance, cleaning and upkeep, and ordering supplies. Must be able to follow supervisor instructions, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 pounds. Exempt FLSA status; full-time position in San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Maintenance Service Certificate in one or more skill areas (preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
