Job Summary
Maintain continuous and efficient operation of the optical lab by performing routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance on lab machinery and facility. Repair and schedule maintenance with outside contractors as needed; apply basic plumbing and electrical knowledge; complete service requests; enforce OSHA, safety, and local requirements; monitor HVAC filters and lighting; assist with moving heavy items; work with diverse team in a night-shift lab environment. The role supports the production of high-quality glasses and contributes to the company’s commitment to excellence. This is a full-time Maintenance Technician I position with Sunday-Thursday shifts from 11:00pm to 7:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Technical and maintenance experience
- Optical experience is preferred but not required
