Job Summary
Conduct maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance on hotel property, grounds, and equipment while adhering to safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Assess property assets to identify concerns and recommend maintenance solutions, collaborating with the Chief Engineer on capital expenditures and routine inspections. Respond to guest requests regarding room repairs and common area maintenance, ensuring a high level of service and guest satisfaction. Push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly throughout the shift. This part-time role supports the engineering department at SpringHill Suites Boca Raton, part of a portfolio of 20+ business class hotels.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift
Desired Qualifications
- CPO certification
- Appliance repair certification
- Ability to obtain certification based on property needs
- 2+ years of maintenance experience
- Attention to detail
